Sihanoukville

Located in the southwest corner of Cambodia, 232km from Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Cambodian name Kampong Som, is the largest seaside resort on the Cambodian coast and has the most tourist infrastructure. It has a series of beaches that are the longest, widest, and some would say the best, on the mainland. There is a chain of beaches running along Sihanoukville from northwest to southeast that is called Victory, Independence, Sokha, Ochheuteal, and Otres.

Sihanoukville has a small airport, located to the east of the town. There are three domestic flights from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville every week. International flights from Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Beijing, Shenzhen (China) are available. From Phnom Penh (Cambodia), you can easily get to Sihanoukville by bus.
