Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel in the downtown area for check-in.

Depending on your arrival time and energy level, you may opt for a brief walking tour around the city center to get your bearings before enjoying a welcome dinner at one of the best restaurants that serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

The rest of the evening is free for you to relax and explore at your own pace. You will be staying at a centrally located hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Today, we will spend the day exploring Ho Chi Minh City, the busiest city in the country. After breakfast, we will start our day at 8:00 am with a cyclo ride. Our first stop will be either the War Remnants Museum or the History Museum, depending on your preference, where you can learn about the country's rich history.

Next, we will visit the Reunification Palace, which was once the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam) and now preserves and displays interesting objects related to the southern regime before the country reunified in 1975. We will also visit the nearby Notre Dame Cathedral, a special religious building built between 1863 and 1880, and the Central Post Office, a gothic-style building.

We will take a walk or a ride along Dong Khoi Street, formerly known as Rue Catinat, made famous by Graham Greene in his best-selling book, "The Quiet American." We will also take a quick look at the City Hall and Central Theatre.

We will spend some time exploring the Ben Thanh Market, which offers plenty of local products. Lunch will be enjoyed with local specialties, and the afternoon will be free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

In the afternoon, we'll explore the local area by bicycle, visiting an ancient house with an antique ceramic collection and chatting with locals to learn about their way of life. We'll enjoy dinner with local-style cooking and spend the night in a homestay, providing a unique and immersive experience of the local culture in the Mekong Delta.

After breakfast, we'll take a rowing sampan to visit a local market and a traditional mat-making village. Later, we'll visit a local farm and join the locals in watering, picking, or harvesting crops.

Optionally, we can visit the famous war relic, Cuchi Tunnels, on our way back to Ho Chi Minh City. Here, we can see and learn about the war and how resilient people can be.

We'll have some free time before our transfer to the train station for our night train to Nhatrang. The train is air-conditioned with soft sleeper berths, enough space for luggage, and locked doors from inside. There are toilet and wash facilities on both ends of the carriage.

Upon arrival in Nha Trang city in the morning, we'll be picked up from the train station and transferred to the hotel for breakfast. We'll then take a sky cab ride over Nha Trang Bay to Vinpeal Island, the largest island resort in Nha Trang and Vietnam, with a small Disney Land playground.

We'll have the opportunity to enjoy water games and visit the aquarium of tropical marine life before spending some leisure time on the beach for sun, sea, and sand. In the afternoon, we'll return to our hotel and have the evening free to ourselves.

Afterwards, we will take a boat cruise on Thu Bon River and stop on a pristine river beach to enjoy a BBQ feast while watching and taking photos of people fishing with traditional tools. We will cruise back to Hoi An town in the mid-afternoon, and the rest of the day is free for you to leisurely explore.

Today is a free day for you to relax on the beach and explore the town's shopping options. If you're interested, you can also opt for a half-day tour to My Son holy land, a World Heritage site containing a collection of ruined Cham style brick towers built between the 4th and 13th centuries. These towers were used by the Cham people to worship their gods, kings, and national heroes, and the site is located in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains, approximately 40km from Hoi An.

Weather: The weather in this part of Southeast Asia is varied depening on the region and season. In the winter time from Nov to Feb, the temperature in some area such as North Vietnam, especially mountainous areas can be as low as 2-4 Degree Celsius (35 Degree Fahrenheit) and pretty cold. Other parts can be warm with temperature up to 36 Degree Celsius or more (96 Degree Fahrenheit). What to take: What you need to bring will vary according to the trip style you have chosen, the countries you are visiting and when you are travelling. Generally speaking you should pack as lightly as possible. It is advisable to have your backpack or suitcase with wheels. An overnight bag with a shoulder strap or little backpacks is convenient to carry water and a camera etc for day trips. Warm clothes and light jacket are needed for the North Vietnam and northern Lao during the winter time from November to March. Sunblock, swimsuits and a light raincoat is advised all year round.
