Today you will spend full day to explore highlights of the Vientiane capital city.
Start the tour with visit to the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph.

The afternoon you will continue to explore the rest of mystical Vientiane with visits to the Wat Ong Tue, Wat Inpeng, Wat Haisok and the Buddha Park, a display of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures created by mystical monk on parkland located by the Mekong River.
Enjoy the spectacular sunset over the Mekong.

Breakfast at the hotel then drive out of Vientiane to the agricultural village of Ban Hom Tai that located on the banks of the mighty Mekong River.
There you will spend time to wander around the beautiful village, visit some well-preserved temples and local school where you have chance to contact with local children and teachers and perhaps observe a lesson or presentation.
Following, enjoy our visit to local farms where you contact with local farmer and to learn some of the traditional methods of farming.
In the mid-afternoon, it is time for us to enjoy the scene of local villagers fishing on the Mekong River with traditional tools.
End our tour to day with a visit to Ban Done Ka Say that is well known for producing many different kinds of exotic fruits and vegetables.

After breakfast, depart Vientiane for your drive northwards along spectacular rural landscapes dotted with villages, farms and mountains and cliffs to Vang Vieng.
On the way, you will make some stops to sightsee, and interact with locals and learn about local life.
You also have visit the traditional salt making village of Ban Keun where you learn the way Laos people make their salt.
Arrive in Vang Vieng in the mid-afternoon around 3.00PM.

Lies on the Nam Song river bank with the most notable feature of surrounding karst landscape, Vang Vieng is known for its natural beauties that is unchanged overs centuries. This place is also home to many of Laos’s ethnic groups including Kmou, Hmong…with their typical culture and tradition.

This morning you will take an enjoyable long tail boat ride along the Nam Song River and visit to the cave of Tham Jang, a beautiful cave with lots of stalagmites and stalactites and was used as a hideout for the locals during the war.
Also you will spend some time to visit to the local village of Ban Huai Ngai, a very pleasant community where you can explore the different local lifestyle.
 
Afternoon is free to enjoy the time at your own pace.
As Vang Vieng is home of outdoor activities, there are tons of things to do there. You can choose to take one of many options there such as: Kayaking or tubing downstream of Nam Song River and visiting the water cave, zip lining, rock climb, ATVs drive or hot balloon riding etc. Our guide will help you to arrange the service upon your choice.

After breakfast, embark on our drive to Luang Prabang. The journey is strenuous as we drive along one of the most scenic but rough routes in Laos. Stop at some high view-points to enjoy the beauty of the tropical forest.

The UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos, maybe in Indochina.

This afternoon you will have a bicycle/green tuk tuck tour to sightseeing the Luang Prabang ancient town with visits to some featured sights such as the most photographed Wat Xieng Thong with its several roofs sweeping low to the ground, the former Royal Palace today is the National Museum that houses rare religious and cultural artefacts.
Then visit Wat Mai built in 1796, the five-tiered roof of the wooden Sim (chapel) epitomizes the graceful Luang Prabang architectural style.
Later of the day climb up to the top of Phousi Mountain for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Breakfast is at the hotel then drive out of the town to a village in the area outskirt of Luang Prabang where you will spend time for special fun and interesting farming experience.
Here you will have opportunity to learn, enjoy and get familiar with traditional farm works that is practiced by the Laos people through hundreds of years.
This educational tour activity will take you through step by step of rice farming from land ploughing with buffalo, seed preparing, rice growing by hand, harvesting and processing rice seeds with traditional tools.
Following, you will take part in cooking a beautiful lunch for yourself with rice and some dishes of traditional Laos’s tastes.
After the meal and a break, transfer back downtown and spend our time to participate in a traditional Baci ceremony, where the locals will pray and offer you best wishes for heath and luck.
Back to the hotel and remainder of the day is at your leisure.

After breakfast, travel out of Luang Prabang to an Elephant Camp where you have chance to see and play with giant and beautiful animals.
Feed the elephants, contact with them and learn something interesting about these giant animals and how they play their role in the Laos history and culture.
Later, join your mahout on the back of one of elephants and travel through the tropical woods.
The ride is scenic, tranquil, relaxing and requires no specific fitness.

After lunch, return to Luang Prabang and on the way back, stop in Ban Xang Khong to see amazing locally made silk weavings as well as mulberry paper items.

Get up early to join and enjoy the special scene of Luang Prabang: Morning alms giving. You may love to sit along with locals by the road side and offer food to monks who are in yellow robe walking slowly in line with bowls in their hand.

After breakfast, take a drive to the Kuang Si waterfall, a jade of Luang Prabang area. Along the way you will make stop to visit to local hill tribe villages of Hmong and Khmu to learn more about Laos’s culture colors and diversity.

At the Kuang Si Waterfall Park, you will have a visit to the Kuang Si Bear Rescue Sanctuary where you can find great information about Asian sun and moon bears and the Free the Bears Protection Program.

Considered the most beautiful masterpiece of nature in Luang Prabang and the whole country of Laos, from the level of 60 meters high, the vibrant water of Kuang Si tumbles down, cascading over limestone tiers creating a series of wonderful turquoise natural swimming pools. The harmony between the white falls, crystal blue color ponds, fascinating travertine patterns and the green of lush tropical jungle surrounding makes make the place a dreaming picturesque landscape. 
The wonderful activity here is absolutely to take a swim in the turquoise ponds and let the torrents shower your body. You can also take a hike along jungle trail up to the top where the stream feeding into the falls to get a great overview of the stunning water patchwork below. 
Children will especially enjoy a day out here playing in the falls.
