Day1

Hanoi – Binh Lieu trekking

Leave Hanoi at 8:00 AM on a scenic drive along the highway to Binh Lieu, a picturesque mountain district located on the Vietnam-China border.

Binh Lieu is a hidden gem of the country, situated about 4 hours from Hanoi and 2 hours further from Halong Bay. This region is renowned for its stunning mountain landscapes, lush forests, and vibrant terraced fields. It is also home to several ethnic minority groups, including the Tay, San Chi, Hoa, and the high-hat Dao people (Dao Thanh Phan) who still maintain very well their unique customs and traditions.

Upon arrival in Binh Lieu, enjoy a delicious home lunch at one of the local minority homes. And, after a short break, you will embark on a 3-hour trek to explore the unique nature and landscapes of Binh Lieu. The trek will take you along little trails that meander through anise and cinnamon forests and original tropical jungle. You will pass by spectacular landscapes of villages and terraced fields, set against the backdrop of rolling mountains.

Your trek ends at the magnificent Song Moc waterfalls, where you can take some time to explore the site and the same name village

Get on your drive to Cao Son, where you will check in to your farmstay which is surrounded by lush flower gardens and breathtaking mountain landscapes

Check in, relax then enjoy a cozy dinner by the fire and spend the night in a comfortable tent surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.

Binh Lieu morning trek – Halong Bay cruise

Wake up to the wonderful sounds of nature.

After breakfast, get ready for your morning trek along little trails to discover the surrounding village and further explore of Binh Lieu natural landscapes.

Get back to the farm stay to check out and say goodbye to Binh Lieu then drive to Halong city where you will embark the boat at about 12.30 for a wonderful cruise on the spectacular Halong Bay.

Transfer back to Hanoi or to Halong city for your cruise trip on the spectacular Halong Bay.

Payment:A deposit of 30% of total price is needed to initiate the tour booking after the itinerary is finalized. The balance for the trip is due 15 days prior to your arrival.

Arrival and departure flights:You are advised to make your own booking for international flights from/back your home country. Weather: The weather in this part of Southeast Asia is varied depening on the region and season. In the winter time from Nov to Feb, the temperature in some area such as North Vietnam, especially mountainous areas can be as low as 2-4 Degree Celsius (35 Degree Fahrenheit) and pretty cold. Other parts can be warm with temperature up to 36 Degree Celsius or more (96 Degree Fahrenheit). What to take: What you need to bring will vary according to the trip style you have chosen, the countries you are visiting and when you are travelling. Generally speaking you should pack as lightly as possible. It is advisable to have your backpack or suitcase with wheels. An overnight bag with a shoulder strap or little backpacks is convenient to carry water and a camera etc for day trips. Warm clothes and light jacket are needed for the North Vietnam and northern Lao during the winter time from November to March. Sunblock, swimsuits and a light raincoat is advised all year round.
