Leave Hanoi at 8.00AM for a drive through spectacular country to Moc Chau via Mai Chau.

The landscape starts to change greatly as you enter the mountainous area of Hoa Binh province when the road meanders up through the lush scenery of mountains. On the way you will have some stops for photos of natural beauties and locals life.

Lunch is in Mai Chau then take a walk around for sightseeing of this beautiful White Thai Village. Continue to Moc Chau along the road No 6 and have a visit to a hidden waterfall before you arrive in Moc Chau in the mid afternoon.

Moc Chau plateau is home to wonderful landscapes of evergreen plantations dotted with spectacular karst mountains and traditional hill tribe villages. In comparison to other places, Moc Chau is relatively untouched by tourism and still remains the authentic beauty that is like a sleeping princess who is waiting her prince to come.

Check in home stay a traditional stilt house at Doi village of the black Thai people and remainder of the day is to wander around the village for sightseeing and local interaction.

Home dinner is served in a cozy atmosphere and perhaps some homemade rice wine will help to make the evening chat warmer.
Enjoy sound sleep in local house on stilts.

Get up early in the morning for sunrise and to catch up with local activities if you like.

After breakfast, we leave Ban Doi to Phieng Canh, a H'mong hamlet nested in a deep valley. The walk to the village offers a great sightseeing of green farms, orchards and tea plantations. You may join with locals at work for fun and to learn more about their life and work.

The Hmong people in Phieng Canh village live in low wooden houses under the shade of plum gardens. Their life is very much depending on agriculture with traditional crops. Today, the Hmong people here still preserve very well their rich and typical traditions as it has been practiced for hundreds of years. 

 

Drive back to Hanoi and have lunch en route. The tour will finish at around 6.00PM. Happy travel!

Payment:A deposit of 30% of total price is needed to initiate the tour booking after the itinerary is finalized. The balance for the trip is due 15 days prior to your arrival.

Arrival and departure flights:You are advised to make your own booking for international flights from/back your home country. This allows you to determine better the travel time frame, budget and to deal with insurance claim when needed. Travel Authentic Asia team will base on your flight schedule to work out the best itinerary for you or/and to modify the itinerary to get it matches.

Travel documents:You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip. Weather: The weather in this part of Southeast Asia is varied depening on the region and season. In the winter time from Nov to Feb, the temperature in some area such as North Vietnam, especially mountainous areas can be as low as 2-4 Degree Celsius (35 Degree Fahrenheit) and pretty cold. Other parts can be warm with temperature up to 36 Degree Celsius or more (96 Degree Fahrenheit). What to take: What you need to bring will vary according to the trip style you have chosen, the countries you are visiting and when you are travelling. Generally speaking you should pack as lightly as possible. It is advisable to have your backpack or suitcase with wheels. An overnight bag with a shoulder strap or little backpacks is convenient to carry water and a camera etc for day trips. Warm clothes and light jacket are needed for the North Vietnam and northern Lao during the winter time from November to March. Sunblock, swimsuits and a light raincoat is advised all year round.
