Bolaven Plateau

The Bolaven Plateau, about 40km far from Pakse city, is one of the main reasons that many visitors find themselves in Pakse.

Best time to go: Raining season is from May to October. In this period, many destinations are closed while paths are hard to cross, but in exchange, the waterfalls are more stunning and powerful.

From November to March, the dry season takes place with a pleasant temperature, transportation is easier.

The hottest season is from March to May, the heat is manageable but waterfalls will be at their lowest rate.
