With an area of 11160 square kilometers, Koh Kong province is covered with the lush deep rainforest and the Cardamom moutains, a huge moutain range. The most remarkable natural landscapes in Koh Kong are pristine islands, beaches and waterfalls. The population of Koh Kong is over 200,000 people, mainly speaking Khmer. Koh Kong has a tropical climate with the weather is warm and humid. The average temperature here is about 25-27 degrees Celsius. It devides 3 seasons in the year, including Cool season last from November to March (17-27 C), hot season last from March to May (29-38C) and rainy season begins in May, ends in October (27-35 C). Although Koh Kong has an airport but now it’s not used for travel flights. You can reach this destination from Phnom Penh or Sihanoukville because it’s linked together by National Highway 4. It’s take about 5-6 hours driving by car depending on the season you are travelling. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful scenery.
