Sala Hin Boun

Located in the Kaysone Phomvihane District on the banks of the Hin Boun River, Sala Hin Boun is a rustic Laos-style ecolodge surrounded by spectacular limestone summit and lush green gardens. The lodge belongs to the Sala Laos system which is available at almost the main touristic destinations in Laos such as the Tad Lo Lodge, Sala Don Khone, and Auberge Plain of Jars.

Sala Hin Boun has been built from local timber in traditional Laotian architecture consisting of 12 rooms with well-equipped facilities which provide a restful stay for all tourists. The 3 main room types at Sala Hin Boun are Studio Residence, River View Studio Residence, and River View Residence with the same view of the fantastic mountains and the mighty river. There is also a restaurant and bar where you can taste typical dishes of the area as well as European cuisine. The staffs here are very friendly and always eager to assist you during your time at the lodge.

The landscapes of Sala Hin Boun are very peaceful and charming. Tourists consider it not only a perfect place to relax after busy working days in the city but also an ideal base for caves exploring trips to the famous world-class Tham Kong Lor and the amazing Tham Nam Non. Additionally, you can explore the regions on foot, visit local villages, and observe the well-known “river life” of people living here. After an outing day, it is wonderful to get back to Sala Hin Boun in the afternoon to chill and see the beautiful sunset on the river.
