With the untouched beauty of the rainforest, Pu Luong Nature Reserve has a system of flora and fauna which is quite similar to Cuc Phuong National Park situated just 25 kilometers from Pu Luong. The allure of this place lies in nature, including various impressive jungles, hills, and valleys. On your trip, it is hard to miss the breathtaking scenery on top of mountains with green fields, blue sky, and vast forests; do not forget to bring along a camera to capture stunning scenes during trekking. Besides traveling through mountains and hills, you should spend time to visit Cham River, relax in the peaceful nature and explore the unique water transfer system of this region. Also, you will have a chance to through the river on the one-of-a-kind handcrafted rafts. How amazing and exciting experience is to contemplate the harmony between the river, forests, and mountains but also learn how to paddle the rafts.

Pu Luong climate features the typical weather of the North of Vietnam but due to its high altitude and surrounded by forests, the climate here is quite favorable even in the summer. You can choose to arrange a journey to Pu Luong by the end of May and early June when people start a new crop of rice or from September to October to admire the picturesque landscape of the ripe rice season. Additionally, mid-summer is also a good time to enjoy the cool atmosphere and pleasant weather here.

From Hanoi, it takes around 4 hours driving to get to Pu Luong Nature Reserve via National Highway No.6 and lots of steep, winding roads. Due to its location quite far from the main highway, so your mind will be free when booking the Pu Luong tour with us. Riding a motorbike is another choice for adventurous travelers but we do not recommend it as the road conditions here are not similar to your country and they are surely affected by the weather. The trip to Pu Luong can be conveniently combined with other places to make a multiday North of Vietnam tour including Mai Chau, Ninh Binh, and Cuc Phuong National Park.
